Dishwasher not draining
Standing water at the bottom of the tub is one of the most common calls we get. It usually points to a clogged drain hose, a failed drain pump, or a blocked check valve.
Not cleaning properly
If dishes are coming out with food on them or a white film across the surface, the issue is usually a failing wash pump, clogged spray arms, or a water inlet valve not letting enough water in.
The wash system isn’t running at full capacity and the fix depends on which part has failed.
Dishwasher not draining
Usually electrical. A faulty door latch that isn’t completing the circuit, a blown thermal fuse, or a failed control board are the most common causes. We isolate the problem before recommending a repair.
Dishwasher leaking
Water under or around the dishwasher needs attention before it causes floor or cabinet damage. Leaks typically come from a worn door gasket, a cracked spray arm, or a failing pump seal.
Unusual noises
Grinding, rattling, or a loud hum during the wash cycle usually means something is caught in the pump, a spray arm is making contact where it shouldn’t, or the wash motor is starting to fail.
Dishwasher error codes
On Samsung, LG, and other digital-display models, error codes point to specific component failures. We read them and diagnose the actual problem.
